Saving Mother Earth...NOT...

Just back from a wonderful weekend in Tiberias spent at the Scots' Hotel...ran across another one of those facetious hotel notes that go something like..."...every day millions of towels are washed unnecessarily, causing tons of hazardous detergents to flow into our rivers and pollute our drinking water yadda yadda yadda..."

During a recent trip to Europe I was told that, unless specifically requested, my sheets would not be changed...for the same tree-hugging rationale of course...

Just how high does YOUR B-S-o`meter run, my hotelier friends???

If hotels are saving the earth - and not padding their own pockets at the earth's expense - shouldn't they be discounting all but the first night's stay to account for their reduced expenses???

Looks like I'm not the first to have thought of that though, duh...
